KEY HIGHLIGHTS OF FIRST MPEG-4 SLOT E-AUCTION OF DD FREE DISH

The first e-Auction for MPEG 4 slots (39^th e-auction of DD Free Dish), as per the new policy guidelinesforDDFreeDish,wassuccessfullyconductedfrom27^thto29^thMarch,2019.Therewas overwhelmingresponsetothe39^the-auction,asalmostfourtimesapplicationswerereceived againstthevacantslotsofMPEG4.Therewasnogenrebasedrestrictionsorreservationsfor participatinginthe39^the-auction.

Subsequently,15channelsweresuccessfullyallocatedslots.Subjecttocompletionofallformalities, 15channels,whohavesuccessfullybidforslots,willcomeonDDFreeDishplatformw.e.f.15^thApril, 2019.
